Frank Bruno put in a star appearance at a Kenyon-hosted Residents’ Fun Day following completion of window replacement works at Flora Gardens, West London.
The company acknowledges that it has a duty to act in a socially responsible manner and to contribute positively to communities local to its operations. With that in mind, when the Flora Gardens project was completed Kenyon invited residents to celebrate with an all expenses paid Fun Day hosted by project staff, their partners and other team members from across the company.
Attractions included a bouncy castle, outdoor games, fresh food, a barbecue, music and a variety of competitions with prizes.
Helping out with the attractions were a magician, a face-painter, a DJ, and a special guest of honour in the form of none other than former WBC World Heavyweight Champion Frank Bruno.
Frank wholeheartedly joined in the fun and games. He happily played with the kids and posed for photos with residents and staff. One resident said; "It's really great what Kenyon have done, putting all this on for us. They've done a great job."
Resident Liaison Officer for the project, Linford Phipps, commented; "Our focus is very much on providing residents with an unforgettably positive experience. The fun day has enabled local residents of all ages, not just those directly involved in the project, to come together in a safe environment to celebrate the environmental improvements carried out."
The company’s overall performance at Flora Gardens, both in terms of quality of work and residents’ satisfaction levels, persuaded the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham to commission further projects from the company, with strong encouragement to “Keep up the good work”.
